Hi, I'm Jim Munchbach, Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioner. I've been teaching Personal Finance at the Bauer College of Business at University of Houston for over a decade.
I'll teach you how to Make Your Money Count and specifically, I'll teach you how to create a compelling financial plan to save more money, pay lower taxes, and build a better retirement.

Such a great professor. So glad that this course is offered and he teaches it, he teaches very well. He clearly cares for students to learn and try to understand all the material. Such an amazing professor.

Professor Munchbach is an amazing professor. The class is much more than just getting the grade. This class set me up for financial success and drove me to be more responsible with my personal finances. I enjoyed this class and would take it again in a heart beat. Take this class if you are wanting to personally grow and benefit. 10/10 amazing.

This was an amazing class! This class really caters to YOUR personal finances now and in the future. You are taught info that EVERYONE should know, but most people don't. If you are looking for a great & easy Adv elective, this is it! Provides lots of extra credit - EASY A if you do the work. Not hard & the professor tells great stories each class.

I loved this class. I think this should be a required class for all college students to learn about how the real world works and how important personal finance is. He is very knowledgeable, and wants to see everyone succeed. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!!!!! You will not regret it.

He is an incredible professor. He dives into the unspoken truths of saving money and how to look for financial peace. He does a great job of explaining confusing subjects and will make you appreciate his class more.
